Sadly, I don't have time to relax, listen to music and rate all my tunes .... so shortcuts to add ratings would be really neat.
Specifically, what I'd like to be able to do is create global shortcuts -- say Ctrl 1-5 -- for the ratings in the same way that I use Ctrl left arrow and Ctrl right arrow for previous and next tracks.

Your wish is my command 
Put the script next to silverjuke.exe. Now you have six rightclick->tools->set rating current song to... options.
Use rightclick->advanced->Further options->Shortcut: Tools: Set rating current song to ... to connect any shortcuts you want.
Note that these command change the rating for the currently playing track. Not the track under the workspace cursor like the existing My rating rightclick sub menu.

You're amazing, this is about the third or fourth custom mod I've requested and you always deliver it the next day ... Cowon and a few other PMP makers would do well to hire you as their OS/GUI consultant ...

Well, I only build something when I like the idea and when I feel like building anything at all. And I am a very sloppy tester (*). Not sure they'd really want me... But thanks for the sentiment!

(*) well - on my freebies that is, paid jobs are treated somewhat better
