I would really appreciate being able to set a buffer size. I'm puzzled such a setting doesn't exist.
You can adjust the buffer size at "Settings / Playback / Buffer"

I may be missing something but I do nut understand the purpose of a buffer that has a maximum of 40mseconds. I'd like to make it a few seconds.
