Continuing the tradition of my skins aluminum and graphite, here now the third one in this series: Platinium. Again based on the design of a device the company NAD, this time inspired by the "lifestyle" series. This offers the skin simple and stylish design with new features.
Highlights of the Platinium Skins:

Hi,
a new version is available on the german forum Platinium skin (It's easier to handle if the files are only in one threat).
Correction: scrolling the list of playlists didn't worked properly.
Have fun
frenchi.
Hi Frenchi,
first of all I want to thank you for the really great skin "Platinum"!
One question, each time I start SJ, the program is updating all 3 databases (artist, genre and year), I don't think this is normal, it takes a very long time each time I start the prog, is there something I can do to avoid the prog to update each time I start.
In Deutsch, muss SJ immer das Database neu aufbauen wenn SJ gestartet wird, es dauert sehr lange jedes Mahl,
gibt es keine moeglichkeiten dies ab zu schalten,
Gr. Gerrit
Hi Gerrit,
glad to see that you like Platinium, but sad to see that you are encountering a problem.
Normally the databases should not be updated a every start of Silverjuke, as they are written into the Silverjuke database. So it seems that something is going wrong in your system/with Platinium.
- Can you please let me know which version do you use? Please use the Vers 1.04, which you can download from the german forum. Which resolution do you use (1024 or 1280)?
- Please make a manual update of the databases (right mouse click, tools, update filterdatabases)(repeat the update, if an error message is coming up). After this, please restart Silverjuke to see whether it is still updating after starting Silverjuke. If so, please drop me a mail or PN, so that we can search in detail what's going on.
Thanks.
frenchi.

Thanks for your congrats, but I believe you have to check your counter....
After having posted this latest post, the counter was at 9998.
But nevertheless, let's celebrate the success of Silverjuke and this Forum: Where is the Champagne?

I thought so (your nick gave me some ideas about that
)

After all these festivities, let's come back to the problem of Gerrit:
I found mainwhile (between two glasses of Champagne
) one potential cause for this effect: The non-existence of playlists to be listed. Problem is when no playlist exist, the database for the playlist will not be created (so far, so good); but during start-up of Silverjuke the Platinium-Skin is checking whether these databases are there, and if not, is creating them. I presume this is the case (at least I hope).
I will post an updated Version in a few moments.
Hopefully this will solve the issue.
Please keep me informed.
Frenchi.
