Notes for Developers and Skin Authors

Service-Team im Nov 05 * · Antworten

All Topics affecting skin and module development are located in this "Skins, Scripts and Modules" forum now; here's a little overview:

Creating Skins

Information about how to create skins can be found in the "Skin-Howto" which is also availble for download here.

Localization and Virtual Keyboard Creation

If you want to localize Silverjuke to your language, follow the steps described in the topic Localization. You can also create your own virtual keyboards to use eg. with touchscreens, see Creating Virtual Keyboard Layouts.

Command line options, DDE and TCP/IP

If you want to control Silverjuke this way, have a look at the topics Command line options and DDE and TCP/IP data exchange.

The Silverjuke SDK

With the Silverjuke SDK you can write your own DLLs for controlling and accessing Silverjuke, the SDK manual is placed here.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them to these forums or to contact us directly. Moreover, you are invited to publish your work in our Completed Skins and Completed Scripts and Modules Forums. And, finally, if you are the developer of any module we have mentioned in this forum, you can contact us so that we can give you access to modify your data.

Best regards,
Your Silverjuke Team

In the lower area of the upcoming formular, click on Add attachments / Options (1.) and then on Choose... (2.) (or sth. like that). In the upcoming file selector, select the *.sjs file on your local computer and click on Add attachment (3.) to upload the file to our servers.

Finally, you have to submit the post using the normal Submit button.
